Anna van Nieukerken
| Anna van Nieukerken (1977) kreeg haar eerste pianolessen van haar ouders. Zij studeerde van 1995 tot 1998 in Den Haag bij Rian de Waal. Zij vervolgde haar studie bij Ellen Corver. Van september tot en met december 2002 studeerde Anna als uitwisselingstudent aan de Royal College of Music te Londen bij Yonty Solomon. Anna sloot in juni 2004 haar Tweede Fase opleiding solospel en kamermuziek af bij David Kuyken.
Anna was ruim 8,5 jaar pianist van het Rodin Pianotrio. Zij maakt deel uit van het Sandee/Van Nieukerken pianoduo. Het Sandee/Van Nieukerken pianoduo trad op in onder meer Het Concertgebouw, Muziekcentrum Enschede, Korzo Theater, Muziekcentrum Eindhoven en - tijdens De Suite Muziekweek 2005 en 2006- het Muziekgebouw aan t Ij. Het duo bereikte in april 2009 de halve finale van het Internationaal Gaudeamus Vertolkersconcours en in mei 2009 de finale van het Internationaal Kamermuziekconcours Almere. De componisten Reza Namavar en Gustavo Trujillo droegen werken speciaal aan het duo op. Bovendien treedt Anna regelmatig op in muziektheaterprodukties. Anna componeerde muziek voor enkele toneelstukken. Zij volgde masterclasses bij Jörg Demus, Konrad Richter, Rudolf Jansen, Edith Grosz-Lateiner en Vladimir Tropp.

Anna van Nieukerken (1977) studied cello and piano during her youth for about five years. She took pianolessons from Marien and Mieke van Nieukerken. After finishing grammar school in 1994, she made the decision to devote herself to the piano. In 2004 she completed her studies at the Royal Conservatory, The Hague (The Netherlands), graduating with a Master of Art in solo performance as well as chamber music. Annas past teachers are Rian de Waal, Ellen Corver and David Kuyken. From September until December 2002 she studied as an exchange student at the Royal College of Music in London with Yonty Solomon. She gives concerts regularly, as a soloist as well as with chambermusic groups.
Anna is a member of the Rodin Piano Trio and the piano duo Sandee/Van Nieukerken. The piano duo Sandee/Van Nieukerken has given concerts in halls like Muziekcentrum Enschede, Korzo Theater, Muziekcentrum Eindhoven and - during the
Suite Muziekweek 2005 and 2006 - the Muziekgebouw aan t Ij. The composers Reza Namavar and Gustavo Trujillo dedicated works to this duo. Anna regularly plays the piano in music theatre productions (for example with singer Ina Boonen). Anna composed music for several plays.
Anna has followed masterclasses with Jörg Demus, Edith Grosz-Lateiner, Konrad Richter, Rudolf Jansen and Vladimir Tropp.
